ABOUT OXFORDSHIRE COMMUNITY AND VOLUNTARY ACTION
Making a difference in your community shouldn’t be exhausting. OCVA offers the tools, connections and know-how to help you to take the next step as an Oxfordshire-based organisation, community group or individual who wants to get things done so you never need to work on the causes you care about alone.
We champion volunteering across the county, through our website Oxfordshire Volunteers and offer bespoke one to one support to people looking for volunteering opportunities and organisations looking for volunteers.
We invest in building relationships with all levels of local government and work with local, regional and national system leaders and partners to enable the voluntary sector to contribute to the best outcomes for all the people of Oxfordshire.
We are seeking Trustees to join our Board. Full details of how to apply are here: Trustee Advert 2023 (002)
Additional areas of skill and experience which OCVA would particularly welcome at this time include:
- Marketing and Communications
- Health and Social Care
- Policy and governance
- Meaningful impact measurement
Candidates are asked to provide a CV and covering letter (no more than 1 side of A4) with a brief account of how your qualities, skills and experience match what OCVA is looking for. Please send your application to admin@ocva.org.uk for the attention of David Agnew, Chair of Trustees.
If you would like the opportunity to discuss the role in advance of applying, we can arrange an informal conversation with David our Chair or Laura Price our CEO.
Please contact us via admin@ocva.org.uk if you are interested in the role but either of these forms of application might present difficulties for you.
The closing date for applications: Monday 30 May
