WHEATLEY JUNIOR YOUTH CLUB PROJECT
Job Description – Play Workers / Youth Workers
The Oxfordshire Play Association (OPA), working in partnership with Wheatley Parish Council has secured funding to deliver a weekly Junior Youth Club in Wheatley.
The project is designed for Children and Young People in School Years 6, 7 and 8 (Ages 10 to 13) and will look to support them through the transition from Primary School to Secondary School.
Following a consultation with Young People in Wheatley the project will be delivered the
Merry Bells in Wheatley on an evening TBC from 6pm to 8pm.
The sessions will last for 2 hours and will be delivered weekly, we are looking for staff to work 5
hours per week (including prep, delivery, monitoring etc).
Our new Playworkers will work 5 hours per week (2 hours prep, 2 hours direct delivery and 1
hour monitoring and reporting) at an hourly rate of £12.68 per hour (£14.21 per hour including
Holiday Pay)
