OCVA: Youth Volunteering Webinar 

We were glad to be joined by Alison Moor Operations Officer from Duke of Edinburgh and Ellie Godfrey from The Story Museum at our recent webinar on Youth Volunteering. Alison explained about the different levels of Duke of Edinburgh and how the volunteering aspect works. Ellie spoke about volunteering with young people from aged 13 and how The Story Museum offer roles and support for this age group which make up a significant number of their volunteers. Jenny Bowley, our Community Development Officer spoke about the requirements when working with under 18’s and things to consider when approaching this area.
