Healthwatch Oxfordshire is hosting a webinar on Thursday 9th November to enable people in Oxfordshire to find out more about a new Health and Wellbeing strategy for the county.
The strategy, which is being produced by the Health and Wellbeing Board, sets out how local organisations will work together to deliver what is needed to support people in Oxfordshire to make healthy choices, live independently and stay happier and healthier for longer. The draft strategy is currently out for public consultation with people being asked to comment on its principles and priorities.
Councillor Liz Leffman, Chair of the Oxfordshire Health and Wellbeing Board, and Dr Sam Hart, Vice Chair of the Board, will attend the webinar together with county council public health officers who have led on the draft strategy.
They will explain why the strategy is needed, how it was developed and what it sets out to do as well taking questions and comments about it.
The webinar will run from 12.15pm-1.15pm and will be held via Zoom. All are very welcome to attend – to join on the day please click on this link.
