The Oxfordshire Community Research Network (OCRN) has just launched the OCRN Community Research Incubator Fund.
This new Fund is offering grants of up to £2,500 to support community-led research projects that address local inequalities and wellbeing. The total fund of £25,000 is being provided by Oxfordshire County Council (OCC). Designed with a panel of community researchers from the OCRN, the Fund aims to make research more accessible to grassroots organisations and community groups, with a simple application process and support available for applicants. It is a pilot programme and we are aiming to learn from the experience.
The application form and terms of reference are available on the OCRN’s new website here: Funding & Opportunities – Oxfordshire Community Research Network. The closing date is 6th November.
Potential applicants can also email researchteam@oxfordshire.gov.uk with the subject: OCRN Community Research Incubator Fund Mailing list for further information about online drop-in sessions for peer support, an example application, as well as other supporting documents.
The OCRN brings together community organizations, residents, academics, local councils, health institutes and funders to strengthen community-led and community-engaged research across Oxfordshire. It is hosted by Oxfordshire County Council.
