This course provides an overview of the key platforms and social media resources and how charities can use these to fundraise. The course will also touch upon maximising your website for fundraising purposes.
By the end of this session you will know:
Kathy Roddy has been a fundraising trainer and consultant for the past 17 years. Prior to that, she was Executive Director of a national animal welfare organisation. Kathy is a certified member of the Institute of Fundraising and holds the Certificate in Fundraising Management. She has recently co-authored an MA module entitled ‘The Art and Science of Fundraising’ which is part of the MA in Philanthropy run through the Centre for Philanthropy at the University of Kent.
You will leave the session with some practical tools to ensure you have the ability and confidence to create a diverse online fundraising strategy.
This session is appropriate for any organisation members who are responsible for generating income.
