Technological advances now mean there are more opportunities for charities to raise money via online platforms, social media and contactless payments. This curse provides an overview of the key platforms and social media resources and how charities can use these to fundraise. The course will also touch upon maximising your website for fundraising purposes.

Kathy Roddy has been a fundraising trainer and consultant for the past 17 years. Prior to that, she was Executive Director of a national animal welfare organisation. Kathy is a certified member of the Institute of Fundraising and holds the Certificate in Fundraising Management. She has recently co-authored an MA module entitled ‘The Art and Science of Fundraising’ which is part of the MA in Philanthropy run through the Centre for Philanthropy at the University of Kent.
