This course is for organisations who would like to further diversify their reach on websites and through social media, using video as a communication tool to promote their organisation. Creating videos is an interactive and fun way to engage people in the work you do whilst informing the viewer on the purpose of the organisation.

This session will:

* raise awareness of the importance of video in marketing

* describe the key features of marketing videos

* enable participants to plan a video for their charity

What will I learn?

By the end of this session you will:

  • Understand the power of videos for marketing and the importance of the human connection
  • Identify different types of videos
  • Understand the importance of the beneficiary voice
  • Plan a video suitable for their organisation
  • Identify ways to promote their film and display it on website

Trainer Profile

Grace Gibbons runs a creative video production company called Bounce that specialises in the non-profit sector.

Grace’s background is in television documentaries.  She originally trained at the BBC before going on to work as a freelance Producer/Director on many award-winning documentary series such as One Born Every Minute (Channel 4)

Grace now uses her experience of human-interest film-making to help charities convey the essence of who they are through video.
