Overview

The public sector has moved towards a transparent model to advertise funding opportunities through the use of the South East Business Portal. This is an additional tool you can use to search for funding opportunities for your projects.

  • Have an overview of the public sector procurement process
  • Understand how to promote your service/project during this process
  • Know how to carry out searches to meet your project needs
  • Have an awareness of the tender process
  • Understand the tender process language

Who should attend?

This workshop is aimed at those who wish to deliver services for the local authority and have no knowledge of the South East Business Portal and would like to know how to use this web tool effectively to source tendering opportunities.

Arrival 9.45am for tea, coffee and networking for a 10am start. The workshop will close by 1pm.

Cost:

£30 per person for OCVA Members
£32 per person from a charitable organisation who are not OCVA members
£35 per person from a non-charitable organisation

There is no parking available, although we maybe able to assist those with disabilities.  Please contact us to enquire if you have a disability.    Our venue is serviced with good transport links, if you are driving you may wish to take advantage of the Park and Ride services located at Redbridge, Pear Tree or Oxford Thornhill.  Alternatively you can park in one of the City Centre car parks such as Gloucester Green, Oxpens, Oxford Train Station or Worcester Street.
