This course will take a pro-active approach to how a board functions and its effectiveness in facing todays challenges.

What will I learn?

By the end of this session you will have:

  • Stated to identify the features of an effective board
  • Considered how to undertake a skills audit
  • Identified key areas of good practice in board recruitment and review
  • Considered how to develop and retain existing board members
  • Examined the importance of succession planning
