Overview
At this time when we are all being asked to work in different ways and with different challenges, all manage need to enhance their skills. One skill in particular that has become very important is to be able to coach staff to come up with their own ideas. Therefore, this is a must attend session to help you to be equipped to support and develop staff and ones self.

Attending this 2 hour workshop will enable you to explore what is needed to coach others effectively.

The course will be held online using Zoom. 

What will I learn?

During this session you will:

• Learn the similarities and differences between coaching and
mentoring
• Learn what skills are needed in order to coach effectively
• Learn what situational leadership is and how it can be helpful in this
context

Trainer details

Tutor Laurell Anne Hector is managing director of McManus HRD with over 20 years’ experience as an accomplished trainer, executive coach and learning specialist.
Laurell’s work in private, public, and third sector organisations includes the design and execution of customised programmes, developing impactful training solutions aimed at effecting change within both domestic and international markets. As a published author and a regularly pursued conference speaker and panel expert, Laurell believes that her role is to shape people for their future.

  • £60 per person from a charitable organisation who are not OCVA members
  • £75 per person from a non-charitable organisation
