Collaboration and partnership working – making it work

Increasingly organisations are being encouraged or pushed to work together.  Either as alliances, joint programmes or cross sector partnerships.  This half day workshop outlines what is possible and what we can do to create partnerships that really work.

What will I learn?

  • Why collaborate? – What’s driving it?
  • What’s possible – from alliances to mergers – a review of models available.
  • Negotiating an effective relationship – what’s needed?
  • Success and fail factors – how to get the best out of a partnership?

By the end of the session you will be able to:

  • Identify the pros and cons of different approaches to collaboration.
  • Plan how to build an effective partnership.
  • Be able to use a range of tools designed to encourage effective partnership working
  • Recognise potential opportunities for your organisation.
