Effective Development and Planning

Overview

Your role as Chair or CEO is becoming increasingly challenging due to the unique requirements of the third sector.

Development and Planning are the interlinked pillars on which all organisations stand and straightforward skills in these areas will transform results.

Whether you are experienced and want more ideas, new to your role and needing support or a potential leader looking for successful techniques, this online workshop focuses on practical solutions to achieve positive results for growth and delivery.

This course will be run online using zoom.

How will I and my organisation benefit?

The workshop leader will cover each topic comprehensively, discuss ways forward and encourage all participants to contribute via breakout sessions.
The purpose is to provide reassurance and guidance for those facing current challenges and motivation for others new to the responsibilities or the sector. The content is designed to be of value to all levels of experience, any size and type of organisation and is practice based.

Workshop leader

Neil Morrick will lead the workshop.

His community activities include education, health and welfare together with strategic and marketing input for many local, regional and national charities involved in a wide range of sectors, for over three decades.

Neil is a past chair of Oxford Spires Academy, Oxfordshire Family Mediation and Oxfordshire Youth. He wrote the Charity Chairs Checklist, has launched chairs’ networks and delivers workshops for OCVA and Step Change with OCF.
