Effective Fundraising Workshop – A Strategic Approach

This workshop offers a comprehensive and practical introduction to getting the funding to support your organisation and its projects.  A lot of fundraising work is wasted effort.  Often we struggle to build and make a compelling case.

This workshop outlines key tried and tested ideas, highlights important trends and opportunities and shows how we can take a more planned and strategic approach to fundraising.

What will the course cover?

  • What do we mean by effective fundraising – overcoming common blocks
  • Mapping out the funding landscape
  • Key trends in the funding world
  • Developing your case for support
  • Making your pitch
  • Building a supporter base.

What will I learn?

Practical, tested and creative approaches to ensure that your fund raising work is effective, focused and sustainable.

By the end of the session you’ll be able to:

  • Review how your organisation approaches fundraising and plan how it can be improved.
  • Understand some of the key developments in the funding world and be able to see opportunities for your organisation.
  • Be able to build and implement a convincing case for support for your organisation.
