The course covers the difficulties associated with raising funds from local communities, managing volunteers, developing a community fundraising strategy, volunteer motivation, practical event planning, return on investment and measuring success.
This course is for organisations who find themselves over-reliant on statutory and/to Trust funding and who wish to diversify into raising money from individuals and companies. The course provides an overview of the many different methods of raising money from these sources and potential ways to start and grow new income streams.
This curse provides an overview of the key platforms and social media resources and how charities can use these to fundraise. The course will also touch upon maximising your website for fundraising purposes.
The session aims to build your understanding of the importance of budgeting, build the confidence and ability to create a budget and leave the workshop having started the work to ensure a sound budget for the coming financial year.
