Managing Performance

Overview
As home and virtual working is becoming more popular it is now imperative for managers to develop their skills in engaging a remote workforce. Our skills need to evolve to maintain performance whether managing teams face-to-face or remotely.

Attending this 2 hour workshop will enable you to explore the evolving nature of team management by focusing on leading employees in a hybrid workforce.

The course will be held online using Zoom. 

What will I learn?

During this session you will:

• Learn what Performance Management is and isn’t
• Learn the stages of the Performance Management Cycle and your
role within this process
• Learn how to use the SOAP Line© to set standards and manage
expectations

Trainer details

Tutor Laurell Anne Hector is managing director of McManus HRD with over 20 years’ experience as an accomplished trainer, executive coach and learning specialist.
Laurell’s work in private, public, and third sector organisations includes the design and execution of customised programmes, developing impactful training solutions aimed at effecting change within both domestic and international markets. As a published author and a regularly pursued conference speaker and panel expert, Laurell believes that her role is to shape people for their future.

  • £60 per person from a charitable organisation who are not OCVA members
  • £75 per person from a non-charitable organisation
