What is Manual Handling?
Manual handling relates to the act of carrying and/or moving objects. This training covers correct lifting techniques and how to prevent injury.
Poor moving and handling techniques cause many injuries at work. When lifting awkward or heavy objects, accidents can occur. This course teaches individuals how to lift safely without risking injuries on themselves or others.
This course will be held in person at West Oxford Community Centre, Botley Road, Oxford OX2 0BT
Poor moving and handling practices can create several health problems. These can include physical injuries such as back pain and musculoskeletal disorders that lead to an inability to work. It can also lead to accidents that can injure the employee involved in lifting or those around them.
Delivered by UK’s largest vocational training provider Tutor Care, who are approved and accredited by a range of legislative bodies to ensure your organisation remains compliant with the latest rules and regulations.
This course is designed to suit all employees/volunteers. This course teaches individuals how to lift inanimate objects safely without risking injuries on themselves or others.
