How many of us have wasted hours searching and applying for funding with low returns? This interactive two hour session aims to reduce your funding search time and will help you to identify which funders will closely match the type of funding you need for your project(s) and organisation.
This session will be run online using zoom.
By the end of this session you will:
John Hayes started working in the voluntary sector for a rural Mental Health charity in Wales. He was then recruited by the local CVS to cover Brecknockshire as a community and organisational development worker, working with groups on governance, legal and funding issues and working with communities on community development and local participation in neighbourhood regeneration and development. After working in Wales for ten years he moved to the South East of England where he currently fulfils a similar role at OCVA as Development Worker.
You will leave the session with some practical tools and ideas for finding funders who closely match your project needs to enable you to minimise your time searching for funders.
This session is for anyone who has responsibility or an involvement for raising funds or bid writing within your organisation. You could be a fundraiser, bid writer, project officer, project administrator or have a general interest in this topic.
