National Volunteers’ Week takes place 1-7 June every year and is an opportunity to celebrate and say thank you for the fantastic contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK. The Volunteers’ Week website is packed with ideas, resources and volunteering stories to help you plan and promote your local events.
OCVA is going one better and using the whole of June to showcase the range of volunteering events on offer throughout Oxfordshire. So now is the time to start thinking of ideas and planning your campaigns. Once you have done that let us know and we will promote it and put it in our calendar of events -see below.

Tues 7th | Museum of Oxford(11.00am, 1.00pm and 3.00pm) University of Oxford – Explore Science Together | Are you a ‘people person’? Are you enthusiastic about the history of the city and its people? Got 4 hours per month you can spare? The Museum of Oxford is on the hunt for welcoming volunteers to join our team. Come along and find out more about what it is like to support the only museum to tell the stories of the people of the city. A chance for us to say thank you to our volunteers for all they do helping people in the local community in need of a bit of help and support. |
