Role summary: 

We are looking for a Perinatal Groups Lead to co-ordinate and co-deliver OXPIP’s antenatal and postnatal groups.
Working alongside an OXPIP Parent-Infant Psychotherapist, the post holder will co-facilitate therapeutic groups for pregnant and postnatal parents experiencing vulnerability, emotional difficulties, social isolation or challenges in the developing parent-infant relationship.

The role aims to improve parental wellbeing, strengthen parent-infant relationships and increase access to early intervention support during pregnancy and the first year of life.

Pay Rate: £49,387

Job description: 

The purpose of this role is to lead the coordination, delivery and ongoing development of OXPIP’s antenatal and postnatal
therapeutic group programme. Working alongside OXPIP Parent-Infant Psychotherapists, the post holder will co-facilitate therapeutic groups for pregnant and postnatal parents experiencing vulnerability, emotional difficulties, social isolation or challenges in the developing parent-infant relationship. The role combines specialist group facilitation, operational leadership and family support.

The post holder will oversee all practical and administrative aspects of group delivery including referrals, participant engagement, venue arrangements, programme scheduling, data collection and evaluation. They will ensure groups are delivered safely, effectively and in accordance with OXPIP’s therapeutic model and safeguarding standards. The role aims to improve parental wellbeing, strengthen parent-infant relationships and increase access to early intervention support during pregnancy and the first year of
life.
