Job title: Field Worker for Banbury 
Role summary:
To support volunteers and schools to ensure that an effective and high quality service is delivered.
Job location (usual place of work): Home based (Banbury Area)
Pay Rate: £12.71 ph

Hours: 8 hours per week (to be worked across the week) termtime only
Contract is: Permanent
Job description:
– To support and develop positive relationships:
– Meeting volunteers during initial training to establish an ongoing relationship and support
– Observing and reviewing new volunteers working with children. Giving feedback and identifying areas for improvement
– Maintaining contact with all volunteers at least once a term, or more frequently if required
– Conducting a formal annual observation visit to review volunteers and ensure the volunteers are maintaining ARCh standards.
– To maintain and develop positive relationships with the school through
– Promoting ARCh and demonstrating value of service within the school community
– Ensure that ARCh resources are managed effectively through providing advice and support to volunteers
– Organising book exchanges in liaison with the office and encouraging volunteers to attend
– Maintain the safety of the child and volunteer at all times ensuring that the safeguarding and child protection practices are adhered to
– Undertaking the administration of renewal DBS checks
– Encouraging volunteers to attend refresher Safeguarding & Child Protection training
– Support the office in the delivery of service and recruitment of new volunteers
