Job description:

At Home-Start Oxford, we make a big impact for families with young children. We’re looking for a warm, proactive and community-minded Family Coordinator to help establish and develop our partnership project, Growing Minds, in The Leys.

Growing Minds supports children from birth until they start school, alongside their parents and carers. It brings together free books through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, Peep groups, and tailored family support provided by Home-Start Oxford, to strengthen early learning, confidence and school readiness.

You will work directly with families in their homes and community settings, building trusted, non-judgemental relationships. Combining family support with outreach and partnership working, you will help families access the Growing Minds offer, understand their needs, agree appropriate support and review their progress.

You will also connect families with local groups, activities and services, support community sessions, and build strong referral routes with local organisations, early-years settings, health services and schools.

This is the perfect opportunity to help build a trusted, practical local service for families in The Leys.
