We run the county’s Charity and Volunteer Awards. This raises the profile of many amazing charities, and rewards hard-working volunteers.
Our Volunteer Centre Oxfordshire encourages volunteering and provides one-to-one support into volunteering. We know from experience how much volunteering can make a difference to individuals’ sense of value and can impact on their employability.
We work with the sector to establish networks, forums, conferences.
We carry out research, administer grants, and bring our sector together when needed.
We are a small team.
We give groups the tools and knowledge they need to deliver vital services..
Through our weekly feature in local papers we tell the world what is going on in the Non-profit sector.
We’re also a charity. Our staff are part-time and, like you, many of us add voluntary hours.
