Bullingdon Community Connections Project underway

January 30, 2025

Bullingdon Community Connections has contributed funding to a Visitor Centre Garden at HMP Bullingdon. The Nature Effect is creating a therapeutic play garden designed for families to play and connect to a nature rich environment when visiting loved ones in prison. Rachel Batts, a member of the Bullingdon Community Connections Steering Group recently visited the project to see how progress is coming along.

Bullingdon Community Connections builds positive interconnections between the prison and communities that support the rehabilitation of individuals.

We help source purposeful activities that men at HMP Bullingdon Prison can engage with to build resilience, motivation and life skills. We identify local voluntary and community organisations who deliver those activities in Bullingdon. We also introduce men to similar organisations when they leave prison, so they can continue with the activity and make connections in their new communities.
