At the latest Let’s Talk Volunteering session on 24th February, we welcomed Chris from Team Kinetic who spoke about ‘The Future of Volunteering: How To Not Miss Out’.

There were plenty of people in attendance who were keen to hear more. Chris shared information around the technology of volunteer recruitment, retention, and the opportunities and challenges open to those of us who are volunteering or working in the volunteer sector.

There were many themes discussed throughout the presentation and breakout rooms:

• The use of AI
• Management software
• Data usage
• What volunteers want from a role
• How can we make our efforts efficient while not losing touch with volunteers

The session was informative and reflective. We’ll be holding the next one on 20th May. Further details will be announced here.
