The focus is on the work involved to make Oxfordshire a Marmot Place. The initiative involves local authorities, communities, public services, voluntary sector and others working together towards reducing health inequalities across the county.

Olivia Clymer, Director of Strategy and Partnerships at Oxford University Hospitals, will present an overview of the Marmot programme to date.

Speakers will include Community Health Development Officers talking about the practical work they’re doing together with communities in Rose Hill and Littlemore, The Leys and Banbury.

Rachel Boland, Head of Information and Advice at Age UK Oxfordshire, will talk about how her organisation helps local communities with financial advice and support.
