NHS England is inviting community, voluntary and charity sector organisations to take part in a new cyber resilience pilot, working with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).
The pilot is built around the NCSC Cyber Action Toolkit and Small Business Guide, and is designed for small and medium‑sized organisations. It offers free, practical support to help organisations protect themselves against everyday cyber risks – without needing technical expertise.
Cyber incidents can be disruptive and stressful, especially for organisations delivering vital services. Organisations taking part in the pilot will get access to:
- Simple, practical tools to improve cyber safety
- Help building staff confidence to spot and respond to cyber issues
- Clear guidance on common threats (like phishing and ransomware)
- Opportunities to learn from other organisations facing similar challenges
- Links to local and national cyber expertise
- A chance to influence future support for the sector
Who can apply?
The pilot is open to community, voluntary and charity organisations, including CVSs and local infrastructure bodies, as well as service‑delivering charities.
How to get involved
To apply, please email by 28th April 2026 with:
- Your organisation’s name
- A main contact name and email address
What happens next?
Up to 30 organisations will be selected for this first phase. The pilot is expected to start mid‑June and is free to take part in.
