Frankie and Jenny hosted a funding surgery event, bringing together local voluntary and community organisations from across Oxfordshire.
One-to-one conversations were held with funders and support organisations including the National Lottery Community Fund, Oxfordshire Community Foundation, Oxford City Council, OCVA and Charity Mentors.
We had 17 organisations register, with 15 joining us on the day, representing a brilliant cross-section of the sector. Groups welcomed the chance to ask questions, get personalised advice and better understand the funding landscape. One attendee shared: “Super useful, this whole world is new to me, but this event was so useful to find out more.”
It was a really positive session and a valuable opportunity to connect funders directly with the local groups making a difference in their communities.
