Job Title: University Volunteering Coordinator

We’re looking for a proactive University Volunteering Coordinator to join our lovely team! This is a role for someone passionate about supporting people into volunteering opportunities and the power of volunteering to benefit communities in Oxford.

This is a role involving lots of networking and relationship building with university and community partners as well as with potential volunteers!

Job location (usual place of work): Based between our main community hub in The Leys (OX4) and our city centre office in Floyds Row (OX1)

Pay Rate: £27,378 (FTE), £21,902 (Pro rata 4 days p/wk)

Hours: Part Time – 30 hours (4 days) per week

Contract is: Permanent

Job description:

Supporting all students to contribute meaningfully to the wider Oxford community by
volunteering, working particularly with the Crankstart Scholarship: Crankstart Scholars
are students from lower-income households who are supported through bursaries and
unique career and internship opportunities.

As part of the Scholarship, Scholars are encouraged to volunteer for 25 or more hours a year, and Oxford Hub is the main facilitator of these placements.
