FUNDING: Leeds Building Society Foundation Grants

August 26, 2026

The Leeds Building Society Foundation supports UK registered charities working to improve the health, wellbeing and financial literacy of people experiencing homelessness.

Small Grants of up to £2,500 are available to charities with a turnover of less than £500,000 and can be used for core, project or capital costs.

Projects should support people experiencing homelessness through themes such as financial stress, emergency accommodation, housing quality and suitability, or health and wellbeing as part of wider wraparound support. The Foundation welcomes applications using Housing First or relationship-based approaches, particularly those that show strength-based practice, trauma-informed care and psychologically-informed environments. Small Grant applications are open in several rounds during 2026, with the next deadlines being:

  • 2 June 2026 to 7 September 2026 for consideration at the 7 October 2026 meeting.
  • 8 September 2026 to 11 November 2026 for consideration at the 2 December 2026 meeting.

Guidance and the application portal are available on the Leeds Building Society Foundation website.
