Groundwork is working with Postcode Lottery for a third year to deliver Grassroots Grants.
Small charities and community organisations in England with an annual income of up to £25,000 can apply for unrestricted grants of between £500 and £2,000.
The programme supports small, local organisations making a positive difference in their communities, with priority given to organisations serving marginalised communities and areas within the top 15% most deprived nationwide.
Funding can be used flexibly for costs such as staff and volunteer expenses, equipment and materials, training, consultancy support, rent, utilities and other core running costs.
Projects should align with one or more of the programme’s themes, including reducing poverty, improving mental health, tackling inequality, supporting marginalised groups, improving green spaces and access to the outdoors, and enabling participation in the arts.
