FUNDING: The Trust for Oxfordshire’s Environment

September 15, 2026

The Trust for Oxfordshire’s Environment (TOE) offers grants of up to £50,000 for local nature recovery projects in Oxfordshire.

Funding is available to community groups and not-for-profit organisations, including parish councils, and can support projects that improve access to green spaces and rights of way, biodiversity and wildlife habitats, and opportunities for local communities to engage with nature. TOE also funds projects that improve species recording in Oxfordshire and Berkshire.

Examples include creating or improving walking routes, replacing stiles with gates, restoring woodlands, ponds and meadows, supporting particular species, and helping people learn about and get involved with local habitats and green spaces.

The next application deadlines are Monday 5 October 2026 and Monday 11 January 2027, with submissions closing at midday. TOE provides guidance and feedback throughout the application process, including support with developing an initial idea.
