Volunteering in Sport

There are thousands of organisations looking for volunteers across Oxfordshire, so do get in touch and we will do our best to help you find your dream role.

Want to volunteer? We’re here to help you find an opportunity:

Visit the countywide volunteering website. The website is designed to link you to your perfect volunteering opportunity as well as providing one central place for groups to advertise their wonderful opportunities. Click here to register and search for opportunities by keyword, activity, or cause. It’s as simple as that!

Like our Facebook page. We update this almost every day with news of charities in need, photos celebrating your efforts and other relevant information. Feel free to use this space to tell us about the amazing volunteering you are doing, so that we can celebrate it!

Sign up to the Oxfordshire Volunteers newsletter. You will receive a monthly update of the latest opportunities in Oxfordshire, as well as being able to read about volunteers’ experiences and find out about events and training which may be of interest.

Come in and see us! If you need a little inspiration, or some help searching for opportunities, please book an appointment at the Volunteer Centre. We’ll be on hand to support you to find something interesting. To book, give us a call on 01865 251946, email vol@ocva.org.uk, or complete this short form and we’ll be back in touch. Please note these appointments are for people who live in the City of Oxford, South Oxfordshire and the Vale of White Horse. If you live in West Oxfordshire, contact Volunteer Link Up. If you live in Cherwell, contact Volunteer Connect.

The Volunteer Centre out and about

We run a regular drop-in stall at Oxfordshire County Library in the Westgate Centre in central Oxford. Come and see us – no pre-booking required! Find our stall at the library on Tuesday 20th February, Wednesday 21st March, Thursday 19th April, and Friday 25th May.

We regularly attend jobs fairs and volunteering fairs and will keep our Facebook page updated with the places we are visiting around the County.

We also keep a blog with updates about volunteering in Oxfordshire and accounts of what we’ve been up to!
