As summers become hotter, more residents are experiencing homes that are uncomfortable, unhealthy and sometimes dangerous during periods of hot weather.

Free, Heat Safe Homes Training will help you understand:

- How homes become too hot
- Practical advice to help residents stay cool and safe
- Simple adaptations that can make a difference
- How to identify and respond to hot home risks
- Local support available through the Heat Safe Homes programme and Better Housing Better Health
Delivered by Oxford Brookes, the training is suitable for frontline staff, volunteers, community groups, housing professionals, health and care staff, local authorities and anyone supporting residents during hot weather.

The training forms part of Oxfordshire’s Heat Safe Homes programme, helping build a workforce and community network that is confident in recognising and responding to overheating risks. The programme includes hot home advice, community engagement, practical resources and Cool Packs for residents most at risk.
